There are at least some people out there who believe the Warren Commission Report got it right for one simple reason: They believe the physical evidence illustrated in the Report is genuine. Were these people to become convinced that much of the evidence is bogus, many WC supporters, perhaps including some in Big Media, might well change their opinions.
Here are my candidates for the five best examples of how evidence presented by the Warren Commission was simply bullshit:
1. THE SECRET CONFISCATION OF "OSWALD'S POSSESSIONS" BY THE FBI ON 11/23/63.
This altered evidence is at the top of my list because it proves two things: 1) Oswald's possessions were secretly taken by the FBI the day after the assassination and secretly returned to Dallas Police three days later, giving the Bureau ample time to do things such as substituting a Minox light meter for a Minox "spy camera" and much, much more, and 2) that Warren Commission testimony was deliberately altered to obscure important facts. The evidence of this was the altered testimony of FBI evidence specialist James Cadigan.
2. CE399: THE MAGIC BULLET
It's an oldie but still a goodie. How many people actually believe CE399 did all the damage Arlen Specter attributed to it?
3. THE PHONEY IMAGES OF "OSWALD" IN MEXICO CITY.
Many people still believe that "Lee Harvey Oswald" traveled to Mexico City and visited the Cuban Consulate and the Soviet Embassy there weeks before the assassination. Since the CIA had multiple "pulse" camera and backup cameras trained on the entrances of both offices, how come no one can come up with an actual photograph of "Oswald" in Mexico City?
At top above is the photo of "Lee Harvey Oswald" at the Cuban
Consulate given to the HSCA by Cuba. Below that is the
CIA's version of "Oswald" at the Russian Embassy. How
can anyone believe Oswald was there?
4. THE UNCASHED, UNPROCESSED RIFLE MONEY ORDER
Warren Commission defenders often present CE788 as "proof" that Oswald, under then name "Hidell," ordered the rifle that killed President Kennedy. There are many, many problems with that position, but let's just consider the fact that the so-called money order was never cashed or processed, as you can plainly see from the evidence itself:
The only stamp on the back appears to be from Klein's Sporting Goods, Inc. (The circular image bottom left is bleed-though from the front of the document.) The various initials dated November 1963 are by Federal employees who handled the document after the assassination. There is not a single stamp or imprint from a receiving bank or financial institution for this so-called money order.
5. KLEIN'S IRRELEVANT DEPOSIT SLIP FOR THE RIFLE "PAYMENT"
The Warren Commission apparently expected us to believe that the deposit slip reproduced below showed that Klein's banked "Oswald's" payment for the murder rifle. Let's take a look at this so-called "evidence:"
From HarveyandLee.net: Now, let's take a look at this deposit slip as shown in the Warren Volumes. First, there is no bank stamp or date stamp on this deposit slip. Second, look at the DATE on this deposit slip (not the list of individual amounts) and you will see that it is dated February 15, 1963--a month before Oswald's order was even received by Klein's....a month before!! This was the ONLY deposit slip presented by the Commission, yet they knowingly used this deposit slip, dated February 15, 1963, to help prove that Oswald ordered a mail-order rifle from Klein's on March 12, 1963. The FBI and Warren Commission also used dubious paper copies, allegedly from Klein's microfilm, to link Oswald to the rifle and frame him for the assassination.
There is no credible evidence whatsoever linking Lee Harvey Oswald to the rifle that allegedly assassinated President Kennedy. None! And if Oswald never ordered nor had possession of the Mannlicher Carcano rifle, then the photo of Oswald on the cover of Life magazine was a deliberate attempt to frame him, as was placing the rifle on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository where he was employed.
ALL THE IMPORTANT EVIDENCE IS FRAUDULENT.
Get more people to understand what most people here have known for a long time, and Bullshit Mountain will begin to crumble.
Make people understand that "Oswald" was a U.S. Intelligence project, and the professional disinformation agents will be forced to begin a whole new tap dance. Wouldn't that be fun?
