If you really believe that about the USA, why are you asking about lawsuits and criminal offenses? The "mulling over of legal terms" is sort of a prerequisite to the actions you are asking for in your earlier post. We have a government of laws and not men, to borrow a famous phrase. I personally see judicial acts of courage regularly, though not as often as I would wish, from prosecutors and judges, and of course lawyers.
Just for the record, I disagree with your assessment of the American people at large, and also with your low opinion of our government in general, though I would not care to derail this thread with a discussion of the issue(s).
