There is another thread on this forum about dead rock stars. Someone linked an interview with "some guy" who casually mentioned that Brian Jones was planning to form a band with John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix. A thread reply to this was wow i didn't know that, that would have been some band.
Well i think that's exactly the kind of "conspiracy theorist" Tom is talking about. Does everyone here simply believe everything without checking it out ?
Anyone with a half decent knowledge of the Stones, Hendrix and the Fabulous Foursome would be able to tell you that that was complete bollocks with absolutely no evidence to support it and with all circumstantial evidence pointing completely the other way (obviously we cannot ask John, Jimi and Brian directly) and yet some dumbass here is suddenly saying oh what a shame that didn't happen it would've been a great band blah blah (no it wouldn't - for many reasons as any musician could probably explain).
It's the kind of crap that leads to Paul is dead rather than Prayer Man or something at least half worthwhile.
While i'm fairly firmly in the "standard" Sirhan camp, I am intrigued by what Tom may have to offer even though it runs contrary to what i believe. In many ways the key to this is the girl in the polka dot dress. It would appear to be fairly undeniable that she is involved but i am more than extremely interested in what Tom has to say and if that is a solution devoid of Manchurian Candidates then so be it. I have followed Dr Pepper's work from MLK through to this and i believe he is one of the good guys but perhaps it comes down to something simpler and other to what we may currently believe. I'd be really interested in what Tom may have found out. Both he and Bill Pepper have stated they know who the polka dot dress girl was/is. Have they reached the same conclusion re her identity....i'd love to know.
However, while i still believe in the "brainwash" scenario, i'd be happier (and less paranoid) with a simpler solution which we should not simply dismiss until we're allowed to check it out.
I agree that simpler solutions are often the answer - i very much doubt that Fermat's last theorem notes bore any resemblance to the way it was solved a few years back or in musical terms, Brian Wilson's and Van Dyke Park's 21st Century version of Smile matched up with the 1966 intention which was a far simpler construct as opposed to a live concert/cd 3 part song cycle which would have been improbable in the day of 2-sided LP's.
If Tom has an alternate "solution" to the RFK assassination i would hope that we will see his research before too long.
I do not believe (on the available evidence) that Sirhan killed Bobby Kennedy. It does not seem possible. Tom is merely suggesting that it is the case that someone else did indeed kill RFK but the ultimate scenario is not what we thought.
Perhaps Tom can explain what the polka dot dress girls affiliations and motives were. Heck even tell us who she was so we can check out her nose and other attributes which did not go unnoticed for reasons Lisa Pease comically noted.
I was gonna ask for her address so i could nip round for a cup of coffee with lots of cream and lots of sugar but given that he believes her dead it would be a wasted journey.
I would not rush to judgement to jump on Mr Bowden simply because his "ultimate theory" does not fit our own. He is after all still saying that Sirhan did not kill RFK.

Sometimes (speaking as a very longtime lurker rather than a researcher in this area which i am not) we may do better to focus on what we agree on rather than what we disagree on.
Finally, Peter Lemkin said that people who subjected Sirhan to mind control have been named - well .
I don't want to be confrontational but what exactly is the really hard evidence that William J Bryan Jnr did it ? He allegedly suggested it on a phone-in that it had been done possibly by someone - is there a tape of that call ??? and boasted to a couple of hookers.....Peter if that's all there is on him that's not evidence.
I'm a music researcher and you are far more versed in this particular field but i've heard rumours about impossible Beatles/Stones/Hendrix etc. tapes started on far less evidence than that. I would never accept those kind of statements as evidence if i was trying to establish the veracity of the existence of a rare Beatle tape or Hendrix concert recording.
I've always found that accusation troubling, even though as i said, i do currently believe there was some kind of hypnosis/brainwashing going on.
