ISIS takes credit in downing Russian airliner

Russia is now denying that there is "any evidence of terror" and looking for mechanical failure; not surprisingly, the Russian airline itself is claiming terrorism. Looks to me like everyone's looking out for themselves and maybe no one is interested in the truth.

It seems like a poor idea now to deny that the pilot used the radio to notify ground control about the problem. With the denial of publicly reported facts, you're going to build in doubt to your interpretation of the event, and add credibility to any contrary scenarios.
