William Blum's Occasional Anti-Empire Report - some sane analysis

I really like Blum's work, and I'm glad I bought a copy of Killing Hope years ago.

Yes, Bill is a hidden treasure all too few know of. If his books when read don't open one's eyes, I really don't know what will. However, his books are not widely read. They along with Zinn's History Of The United States series should be required reading in High School and University history and political science courses...but it would take a revolution to make that happen in more than a handful of University classrooms nationwide [and I'm sure those professors or lecturers are under fire and barely holding on to their jobs for exactly such reading assignments]. I love his lists, and send them to all my naive friends, family and acquaintances. The usual response I get is deadly silence due to the cognitive dissonance [it clashes badly with the propaganda]. I'm very sad that he is no longer regularly publishing his Anti-Empire Report, but glad he is 'occasionally'. America is really a very nasty Empire, and the majority population just refuses to look the Truth in the eye as Blum does. That his publisher is having problems and the book is not available in the USA doesn't surprise me. His books are still available as ebooks. Obviously, certain powers that be would love to make his information unavailable as it is an inconvenient set of truths.
