Jim DiEugenio Wrote:This is a little late because I had to read the book twice. No one can read it just once and digest all of the material in it. Simply not possible.
I also took 43 pages of notes. Which actually was not enough.
And even though I did a pretty thorough job, I had to ignore some of the book or the review would have been even longer. And no one would have raed it.
This is the best book on Dulles there is, hands down. Which is why the MSM will not touch it. A distinguished and considerable achievement.

Wow! What an AMAZING in-depth review of Talbot's new book! I have shared your review with many of my friends who have come away with the same conclusionyou are brilliant! Your review has inspired me to go back for a mulligan read of "Reclaiming Parkland," hoping I can now better stomach reading more about Bugliosi's singular idiocy on the topic. That you managed to wade neck deep through his epic monstrosity is indicative of extraordinary stamina and uncommon valor, (reminiscent of the endurance needed to trudge through the other Macbethian 26 volumes of tales told by idiots, full of sound and fury, that signify nothing...at least nothing believable. Literally, a conspiracy meant to end all theories.
Still, someone has to do the leg work, I suppose, but unlike you, not many have the exceptional mind to match their fortitude. Your review of "Devil's Chessboard" was just as enjoyable to read as the book itself, if not more. I'm looking forward to your next efforts, and have endless gratitude for all of your invaluable contributions to the community of unloved lovers of the truth!
