Very cool stuff, thanks Tracy, I've seen and picked up Maximum Rock and Roll in newsstands but had no idea about the CT legacy. Alternative Voices had some great guests! Emile DeAntonio, my favorite dissident filmmaker, to name one.
Peter,
What's the word on what's contained in Mae's archive? I can just imagine the wealth of magazines and clippings. Files and files of them. It's odd the family is refusing to make it publicly available. So at one point it was in the hands of Emory and Judge, but it reverted to the family because they couldn't bring the museum to fruition? What a shame...
By the way, when you mentioned Mae's daughter Bonnie dying in a car accident it reminded me of something in Praise From a Future Generation. Didn't Shirley Martin's daughter die in similar circumstances, or perhaps she herself was involved in a car crash? I'll have to dig it up I could be off base.
