This is "L'Orchestre Noir". The book and the movie are highly recommended but seem not to be available in English. He has some interesting things to say about Aginter Presse -- he stayed with Guillou and delle Chiaie in Madrid.
Vinciguerra's position is, if I remember correctly, that he is or was an honest fascist while some of his comrades had connections to the secret services/GLADIO. A touchy subject. There is no denying that he is a very eloquent and intelligent person. These people -- Freda, Ventura, delle Chiaie, Giannettini, Guillou etc. -- were no idiots. The knew the political and geopolitical context in which they were operating.
