Project - Locating the bullets/bullet holes in Dealey Plaza
#26
Myra Bronstein Wrote:Bernice, in your attachment from The Case for Conspiracy there's a photo of the sidewalk on North Elm, and the caption: "A probably bullet mark appeared on the sidewalk to the Southwest of the depository..."

Do you know where on the sidewalk that mark appeared? I can't even find it on Don's map.

I attached the latest version of my DP map to give reference points.

....Good Day Myra.... The location of the north Elm Street sidewalk defect was about even with President KENNEDY's Z-247 location, about 7' due east of TUM, about half way between the beret-hatted, right hand raised upward man a.k.a. the "dark complected man" (a.k.a. "the accomplice" to TUM, and anotated in red on my DP map as "TA"), and close witness ALAN SMITH.... On my map the location of the sidewalk defect is anotated with a red " + ", and its description is provided on the right side of the DP map, below the South Peristyle's location.

.... About 9 to 11 years ago GARY MACK told me that EARL GOLZ had told him that the sidewalk defect was actually caused in the 1930's, during the plaza construction, when a rag or a piece of a rag, or something, some how, became stuck and temporarily left sticking in the freshly poured sidewalk cement, then, someone removed the rag, leaving the defect without smoothing it over/covering it up.

.... IIRC (i'll check my emails), MACK also mentioned to me that, sometime, since the assassination, GOLZ himself had someone remove this sidewalk scar and its immediately surrounding cement area.... MACK said that GOLZ then gave it to the SFM, where it is stored... (i've heard a rumor several years ago that GOLZ was writing a book about the assassination, based on his many DMN newspaper articles, his many personal interviews he has done over the decades, and, based on his case knowledge)
