Lieberman's a traditional nutter - old school; Israel's a far-right, ultra-nationalist, gods-own-ppl mindset, but that's gotta sit awkwardly with those liberal, rainbow kibbutzniks - that 'artisan' variety, not gun-toting "god told me to skin you alive"-variety settlers. Seems to me that there's quite the schism in Israeli society-mindset, traditional ingredients for civil war. Thank gawd for the Refusniks & Max Blumenthal/Norman Finkelstein etc etc. I gather Bernie Sanders bows-out of the conversation, but then, he seems charmingly 'ordinary' - 'just this guy'.
