Dang,I miss Ed. He was/is a good one. Had a great blog called 'summonthemagic', a veritable mosaic of really fantastic offerings.
But this 'mind control' thing took on a life of its own over the years, with Cathy O'Brien, Bruce Springshyster, Barbara Hartwell (who gives Ralph Cinque a run for his posting numbers) et. al., making quite a living from their 'seminars'. It was originally known as 'marionette programming', but these people, like Judyth Vary Baker, took the truth and twisted it to make money. Cads, the lot of them.
Bowart was married to Peggy Mellon Hitchcock, the sister of 'Mr. Billy', who both allowed Tim Leary, Alpert, Kleps and the gang take over an old dairy farm, Milbrook in upstate New York. Art Kleps wrote a great chronicle entitled 'Milbrook'.
