Rattling The Oil Cage

I simply don't know, but the assumption, based on the historical facts, has to be probably. I suppose we can say something similar about IS today, to the extent it was created by the US due to the invasion of Iraq and then later received support and succour from the US for the operations inside Syria. But we should remember that prior to returning to Iran, Khomeini was living openly in Paris. Sone interesting material HERE and HERE.

In the final analysis you always need a villain to enable you to do the things you need to do that would otherwise be impossible.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
