The present Congress doesn't mind because CIA is a way to flank the American public and weaken its democratic power while grouping with the corporatists.
Collaborators have always assisted in war, however, they've also assisted in the cover-up assassinations of JFK/RFK/MLK from a democratic government. I would have to disagree with you if you believe the government is impenetrable. I do not rest my assurance on any one man to show me the way, and if you believe this democratic government is unable to be pierced, then you're mistaken. It is widely known that Fidel Castro had infiltrated every three letter agency including the pentagon, how is it that Castro knew when some group was plotting to assassinate him?
Furthermore, Castro was not the only man who was able to infiltrate this government. Though Castro did recruit others to provide him with sensitive information about plots to assassinate him, and that alone should embarrass the CIA knowing their security failed, if that isn't embarrassing enough, it must be hell knowing that a man named Edwin Kaiser impersonated agents of the CIA and FBI. He was able to freely move about in their offices as he presented false ID, and he was never prosecuted or sent to prison for impersonation, now that's got to be embarrassing.
Am I taunting the agency? No, I am however exposing a story no one has ever heard, imagine that, some folks believe this government has been impenetrable, on the contrary, it has been penetrated. If you wish to place all your faith into one mans basket hoping researchers like Morley, (side note, please be advised that I know nothing of Morley, I have absolutely nothing against Morley, and by using his name is merely an example, not out of disrespect. So I ask that no one jumps to conclusions please.) However, if you're placing all your faith in one man to find an answer, then there would be no evidence already laid before you.
