David, let's hope Trump doesn't throw a tantrum and decide to bomb the UK, a country that had talked about banning his entry at one point.

Sadly Tracy, the UK will, for the time being anyway, continue to be the American poodle no matter who has their finger on the button in the White House.

What I hope will happen down the road a way, is that the UK will become increasingly independent and non-aligned, dump NATO as it has dumped the EU, and climb off the bankers bandwagon.

Meanwhile, this whole One World ruled by America is a numbskulls ideology - while it sounded nice and comfy and cuddly to liberals - it could never happen while its main proponents (we Anglo-Americans principally) failed to deal with their own culture of greed, political myopia and the other shadow qualities they openly embraced.

So, good bloody riddance to that at least.
