Hear, hear. In the USA, if anyone on the five major TV news outlets in the US read that Tolstoy quote, the extended electromagnetic pulse emanating from millions of remote channel changers would likely knock at least one communication satellite out of the sky, warranting a click or two upward on the DefCon scale and allegations that the Chinese had done it. At least one Congress-critter would immediately make some inane comment about Russia, Communism, socialism or the terrorists, Rush Limbaugh woiuld have talk radio fodder for three days, and donations would spike upwards 300% for 36 hours to three mega-churches. Similar "debates" happen every August on the anniversaries of the time we incinerated two Japanese cities. Yay for our side.
