Double Hijack of "Arctic Sea" (ongoing)

(Former?) director of RFE/RL, I think he even has a house in Estonia.

I saw a joblisting on Craigslist once for service personnel at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. The ad looked legit at first. It claimed employees hired would have to be out of touch with their freinds and families for 6 months, and that since McMurdo is a US military base, there could be no family visits.

McMurdo isn't US, it's NZ, and under the Antarctic Treaty it's illegal to construct any military bases on the entire continent. McMurdo also has a pay telephone that accepts phone cards rather than change.

I bet these Russian guys got sucked into something similar, as the article says. The author makes an error saying "before the Arctic Sea left Finland" it put into port in Kaliningrad. He must've meant before leaving for Finland. Was something nuclear delivered to Kaliningrad, or was it ditched there after counter-intelligence learned NATO or Israel knew there was a nuclear shipment underway? Did MOSSAD arrive later, after the Baltic patsies were on board, and leave before interception of the vessel in Cabo Verde? Or was it all an elaborate ruse?
