I think you miss the more important points - but even on that one, perhaps - but Kelly implied that the names of sharpshooters being trained were in HSCA files. His main point(s) were to the prior assassination plots that were studied or used - in part - to assemble the structure of the Dallas plot. Some of the same persons were also likely used, and others I'm sure were specifically selected for that one mission only - having never been used before, and not to be used again [if not terminated so they couldn't be 'found']. I find it as surprising as anyone in or out of the story that the Smithsonian would have been chosen, but this is the clear memory of this person. This needs to be investigated. Files at the Smithsonian should be accessible via FOIA and under the JFK Act. But, again, this was a minor point IMHO in Bill Kelly's article. More likely there might be photos of some of the assassins and many others used or trained for other assassinations. No one ever would nor did make a list of 'the gunmen for Dallas'. Such papers, if ever generated - very unlikely - were burned or shredded long long ago - and would have consisted of operational names, not real ones.
