Even before there was a Warren Report.
Clearly, someone on the Commission was leaking or supplying written preliminary conclusion to the execs at CBS.
When CBS got these, they then corrected the witnesses on what to say when they went off script. Lane and DeAntonio saw these but then Dick Salant would not allow Florence Graves, the journalist who wrote about it, or the HSCA to see them.
Since CBS was in the tank on this, one has to suspect the worst as to why Salant would not allow the HSCA to view them, especially since we have Lane and DeAntonio on record.
