it food for thought. (Godfrey S Rockefeller and Jock Whitney were both Scroll & Key, Bush of Skull & Bones/Henry Hurt worked for them. Bush was best friends with Jock's Freeport's president Langbourne Williams's cousin, Gerry Bemiss, Henry Hurt married Langbourne's niece.
Bemiss is a dead ringer for Billie Joe Lord described "Jim Beamiss" "advisor" to Henry Hurt. Bemiss was a finance chair in 1976 Jerry Ford campaign.
One Henry Hurt son, Robert, is prominent as a winger politician, and the other (Charles Hurt) at Drudge and Washington Times. Hurt's Reader's Digest editor, Thompson, is son of Luce's Life Magazine
Thompson. The elder Thompson's assistant at Life and in WWII USAAC intel ops against the Luftwaffe has a son who provided employment to
a certain defector
