Now, there are many websites that deal mainly or completely with Covid-19. One I chanced to come upon that seemed to be fairly balanced and not too technical is this one https://www.covid-19.no/
So far, I can suggest it, and will suggest others I find. Do NOT trust everything ANYONE tells you on this disease or its history. It is complex and few have the time or background to really follow all of the stories or reports or research papers deeply enough to form a definitive position.
I have a background in Epidemiology and related subjects at the University level and I spent several hours trying to untangle the story of what happened and when at the Wuhan virus lab - what happened at other virus labs in and out of China before - if there was any evidence of human manipulation of the genome or release on purpose or by accident, etc. One reads a paper with a position on this and it seems convincing...then one reads another paper with an opposite position and it seems convincing. It would take days of work - if not weeks and months - to read all of the 'better' papers to get some feeling for where the truth MAY lie. I am NOT worried that the truth on this will emerge eventually, if not in the next year. To some extent that is at present second tier importance. Whatever happened and however it happened, we have a virus to deal with NOW - and this is a HORRIBLE virus indeed! Add to that that most countries have done a simply HORRIBLE job of dealing with the virus [UK and USA two good examples...but there are others - many] and we are looking at not only fear, economic disruption, increased political and electronic control under the guise of the disease - but megadeath and suffering not seen since a World War or the 1918-9 pandemic.
A vaccine and/or some set of anti-viral drugs that work with this virus will help a lot, are likely months or years off, and are being both politicised and privatized - both wrong and both counterproductive. This is a very sad time in human history and showing the many failings of how human society is set up in most places - with those least worthy of trust in control of this matter as well as many if not most others.
