Well, the auto industry has all those horrible (communist) union workers who inflated wages and thereby destroyed the economy. Sure sure they ultimately made wage concessions so that new members start at 50% lower pay, but it's too little too late. Because they already destroyed the economy. Did I mention that they are communists?
Whereas the financial sector has no such union so they are capitalists and therefore real Americans. Real free market Americans. The government will of course subsidize free market capitalists no strings attached no questions asked because the free market has spoken, and it said it wanted our tax money.
