Ah, but he was last seen riding a horse crossing the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan... I mean, between al-Qaeda and the CIA .... we have the tapes, you know, there he is... it looks like him, doesn't it? .... and now of course we have only the audio tapes, but it sounds like him, doesn't it? ... Well, every once in a while we have the skeleton in the closet and we can bring it out and shake the bones to scare the bejeebers out of the nervous faithful. We haven't had any intel on the fellow recently but, wait, this just in from one of our people on the ground ... the apparition, the ghost of Afghanistans past, was seen trailing his dialysis tubes and escorting Obama on a tour of his life... look, there he is, years ago, when he was working for a CIA cut-out company just after college, guided by his mentor the grand-master himself, zee big new kissin-feller clone.... there he is, jetting to Oslo, soon to be shown "shadows of the things that have not happened, but will happen in the time before us".
We hope, of course that, like Marley, Obama (along with Gates and McChrystal) wakes up Christmas morning "happy as an angel,... merry as a schoolboy".
