The original announcement came from the college itself, which may
be why the President has been unwilling to address the issue. I've
been trying to apply some pressure, but it hasn't been working:

I wrote to him several times without even receiving a reply. Finally,
the questions I raised were dismissed by the Dean of the College, who
did respond. So I wrote an article about "my Dartmouth experience":

My hope has been that the Manchester Union Leader, for example,
might pick it up and run with it. The most notice that it has received
