(This post was last modified: 25-02-2010, 05:51 PM by James H. Fetzer.)
So I submitted the Mazza article to OpEdNews and received an acceptance on the 23rd. For some reason, even though I was looking for it, I did not notice it was there until the next day. When I clicked the link, it was gone.
I wrote to Rob Kall, the editor, to tell him it was gone, but I have received no response. Then I recalled that he would only allow "Blowing the Whistle on Dartmouth" to be posted as a diary.
The original included two pages from a google search to show that it had been widely published. But the links did not work in the article, which was given as a reason for its rejection.
Then it dawned on me that Rob had probably killed it after it had been reviewed and approved by one of his editors. He likes to tout their competence and independence. I wrote to ask him why. He has not replied.
If anyone knows, let me know. For whatever reason, I expected more of Rob Kall and from OpEdNews. I had not expected censorship from him. If he turns out to be a Dartmouth grad, that might explain it.

Your article submitted: Farid's photo is a real fake. And so is he.
Author: Jerry Mazza
Description: Dartmouth professor Hany Farid claims to have validated a backyard photograph of Lee Oswald, which has long been established as fake. He ignores multiple indications of fakery and multiple photographs. He does not even appear to have done a search of the literature, which may have something to do with funding from the FBI. Oswald said that his face had been pasted on someone else's body. He was right and Farid is wrong.
