Talking about that, I seem to recall that the Twin Towers were owned by the New York Port Authority - who coincidentally own New York's three main domestic and international airports as I recall (the main international import- export gateways into NY if you get my drift?).
An aspiring investigative journalist might well benefit from investigating the crookedness that is the Port Authority --- assuming they were prepared for the prospect of being found in the Hudson river, "sleeping with the fishes" (to use a well known phrase).
