It is true there seems no functioning government there. The only thing they seem capable of organising is a war and even that looks like going through the motions of war because there seems no plan to win one just waging one. They can't even organise an memorial to the victims of the 911 events. How many years now and there is still just a hole in the ground? How much infrastructure was built in the depression there? Plenty. Now, everything is just collapsing, rust belts. Even with regards to war it only took 5 years (for those in it from the start) to defeat the Nazi (militarily at least) and it was all over. The US is still in Iraq and Afghanistan. after all these years. No sign of leaving. More theaters of war coming to a place near you soon.
