The record is clear in that the US government has, develops and will use a wide variety of techniques, technologies, and plans to combat any action taken by the people on their rising concerns and awareness about state actions, activities and attitudes. Peter Dale Scott's work on COG inside "The Road to 9/11" documents this well, as have others. The US will not allow what has transpired elsewhere on the planet. What seems clear to me, however, is that ... along with the rising tide of concerns on the homefront, the dwindling supplies of energy on which the Empire's troop carriers and military machines must run, and a range of other issues like rising debt, the US government is desperate. It cannot turn to the people for ideas; they have a few, but those ideas won't enable profligate profits to the few, or sustainability in political power.
