Well, since they are looking into how one can "steer" the incoming, maybe they can steer a small asteroid back close to the Yucatan and solve the Deepwater Horizon problem at the same time... They appear to have written off the area anyway, and continue to contemplate nuking it. This will allow them to keep the nuke for other objectives. Once they get that approach perfected, it can be added to the Star Wars stable and we will be ready to take on the intergalactic foes now being rumored and keep the military-industrial complex at peak funding. :vroam:
