Whatever that nonsense was about The Official Browser of the Wikileaks TM Revolution, this is actually very clever on Assange's part. The MSM keep whining away with headlines like "Wikileaks: The Future of the Press?" and Assange comes along and says, "It's OK, guys, you can still play, too!" and hands them shovels and little buckets as he guides them gently into the sandbox.
I keep hearing "He hasn't posted anything new, everyone knows war sucks" etc etc, but the real deal is the world barely remembers the ongoing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the weapons dealers and contractors for whose benefit these wars are being held are counting on the apathy of the public in Western Europe and North America, according to documents leaked on wikileaks previously. Oh and then there's Angela Merkel the conservative chancellor from East Germany who says withdrawing German troops from Afghanistan would be a greater disaster for Germany than 9/11 was for America, hint hint.
This wikileaks media initiative is important if only for getting the press in three of the aggressor countries to address the wars. If Julian Assange is wrong about 9/11, Barry Soetoro and so on, and he probably is or has been over the years, fine, but I'm not interested in finding 100% political correctness or elevating anyone to media icon status, I'm interested in ending the wars and the coup d'etat in the so-called (former) Western democracies.
