That's an interesting juxtaposition that Assange has for his backround.I think the point falls rather flat,but most people will not make the distinction.The soldier in Afghanistan is in a rather reflective state of mind,where as the soldier from Vietnam has "The Thousand Yard Stare".If I remember,that is the famous photo of a Marine who is in the long fierce ugly battle for the ancient city of Hue.I wonder what PR firm thought this one up?
Anyways,I find a lot of perception manipulation going on with the Wikileaks materials.As I pointed out in the Apache attack on the journalists,their were armed men in that group.Nobody wants to admit that.I've not really learned much that I didn't already know from this new document release,but I'm sure it will stir the minds of those who know little,or care little.I guess that's the major point for me.Gotta stop this war..........
