Why would anyone trust a bank or banker?! Wolf had enough money to hire a lawyer. I've been defrauded by banks, but didn't have enough money to hire a lawyer - then you are really screwed. If you think the banks in the USA are bad, try the ones in the CZE! Even the world banking ranking puts them at the world's low end for openness, honesty, fees [my current bank invents them as we go along and if I don't like it, I can transfer to another one that will do the same], bad service, outrageous behavior [I get charged a fine for making cash deposits]....etc. I don't have enough money in the account to interest a fraudster for big things, but if I did and had problems, I've no doubt the bank wouldn't help, and would likely be the fruadster. Banking is a an idea who's time is long over, IMO.
