Smeared by his own side, which has also obstructed a proper investigation, his (very professional) murder denuded of professional significance by its portrayal as a homosexual tiff or thrill kill...what exactly are we looking at?
The obvious hypothesis is that the victim was dispatched by British and/or American masters anxious to draw a line under a particularly black op -for which he ran field comms - that most likely went awry: Interesting to know if any of Williams' visits to Afghanistan coincided with, say, an assassination attempt on Kharzai, or a pseudo-gang operation in the realm of propaganda-by-atrocity. Good and sufficient reason(s) to eliminate the technician; and, doubtless, the special forces team tasked with it.
