Gareth Willaims a talented 31 year old man who was educated at Cambridge University, before working for nearly ten years as an employee of MI6 – GCHQ was found dead in a central London flat in upmarket Pimlico after being brutally murdered

Gareth Williams was found dead in his apartment in Pimlico around 1640 hours on Monday 23 August when police officers attended the flat

His dead body had been stuffed into a sports bag and dumped in the bath in the flats bathroom

First reports in assess that he was murdered maybe up to two weeks ago, and his body had remained undiscovered during that time

The body was covered in several stab wounds and the torso had started decomposing

His mobile phone and several SIM cards were found in the flat
