He can still be 'nice' intelligent man and gay or into gay sex at least. And while the gay community, like many minority groups, seek to make connections with those in the wider community especially the great and famous, so it may not be beyond the realms of exageration what has is written in these reports. However, it doesn't even matter if he is or not. What matters more is that some one has leverage over some perceived weakness. Whether he is or isn't it's what the photos and films show that matter.
