That the actual targets are predominantly civilian is abundantly clear from the use of White Phosphorous as pointed out by Damien yesterday.
Today's London Times has a front page picture that clearly shows WP was used. The IDF claim WP is used to create a smokescreen to protect its advancing troops because outright use of WP against civilians is a war crime under the Geneva Convention.

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort.
