Yes, sad. Brilliant man. His math had great implications in the real world, as well as in art. I have several fractal generators on my computer and many 3D moving fractal images can be found on the internet. In fact, there are those physicists who think that the Universe may actually be a fractal one, which we fail to perceive [as we fail to perceive most of Reality, due to our limited sensory perceptions and mental abilities]
