FBI: always going in the wrong direction.
Always.
That's their job - to make everyone look away and let the magicians and mechanics do their tricks and get away; while innocent patsies are usually picked up or picked off or jailed in their stead. Disgusting that the building bears the name of the worst of the worst of the FBI - Mary Edgar Hoover....but it is befitting the standards of the organization.
Thanks for this on HW. I started interacting with him by letter and a few phone calls late in his career. He was a sharp observer and a curmudgeon in his manner - but he never, that I know of, declined to help anyone with a legitamate question. He was selfless in the time he devoted to solving the truth of the JFK and MLK cases. For all of his work he got nothing. His books sold so few and for so little NO ONE can make the claim that he was 'in it for the money'. He was in it for the truth and morality. That less that one in 10,000 Americans have ever heard his name is just part of the obscenity of what goes on there.....as somone on this forum correctly called the world's largest lemming community.
