Great post, Magda. I know this all TOO well first hand and noticed this trend in my 20s. One graph is missing...there is one that shows American's level of general satisfaction with their lives. It parallels the economic decline and inequity gulf. A nation now with a neo-feudal structure and heading further apace in that direction.....just ripe for a dictatorship or revolution.....but I fear the American Sheeple are too lazy, fat and addicted to TV to get out of their TV lounge chairs and do somethings, sadly. The society is constructed now so one can ONLY move downward - never upward - despite the propaganda and mythology otherwise.
