It seems the that warning has gone unheeded. I havent seem too much on TV, or the internet about this anniversary. Last weekend C -Span had a program, sponsored by the Cato Institute,(OMG ) that dealt with the speech and how Eisenhower had fought the complex while President. The main speaker put General Dynamics, owned by the Crown family, at the apex of the the complex at the time of the early 1960's.
The forum search function is not up to scratch yet, so I can't find the thread, but Colonel Henry Crown operated on behalf of the Chicago mob
Nice guy.
According to James Ragen, the racing wire czar of the 1940's, Henry Crown and Conrad Hilton were the the financiers of the Chicgo mob. Mr Ragen, told FBI Directo J. Edgar Hoover and Attorney General Clark this in interviews arranged by newspaper columnist Drew Pearson. Professer Scott has documented this fact in many of his writings.
Michael Isikoff was on The Rachel Maddow Show, last Monday night, and in a report on the 50th anniversary of President Eisenhowers speech on The Military - Industrial Complex, Mr Isikoff put General Dynamics, owned by the Crown family, as being the primary company in this vast network of murder & greed.
