Where is the country my Grandpa knew?
#4
Jack, it's not personal or about nationality. They don't care if you or any other American buy their products or even if their products are used. They are only interested in the transfer of money from another bank account into their bank account. They really don't care where that money come from. US, UK, China, India, Japan. Their focus is not on giving you or any other person access to the means of purchasing consumer goods but to make them selves rich with or with out you with or with out the US. That is why jobs have gone overseas. Just so long as someone, anyone, buys the end product they get money. The consumer can be anywhere as can the workers and producers.

But you are right. They will eventually kill the goose which lays the golden egg. I, personally, think geese should be very well looked after. Like cows. Please see 'Cow Economics' in the Lounge section. :fisheye:
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.
