John P. Wheeler III most recently worked with USAF developing their global surveillance system (i.e., space wars). A program the usaf touted just a couple days ago in the msm. Even though he was cfr, it seems just as likely he may have ticked off someone for either (a) sharing secrets about the new usaf program, or (b) not sharing the secrets with cfr-prc agents.

Also, he was very vocal about getting rotc(mil-intel) back on the elite liberal campuses. He worked inside pentagon, and maintained connections within academia and media.
He was married.
