I think she realized just how much privacy she would have to give up. She did not do well in interviews. Got the first bad press she's ever had in her life and decided who needs this? I think she got very caught up in Obama -becoming- Camelot, especially since she missed the real thing, and allowed her normally very private self to dabble in politics a bit. But then with the confirmation of Hillary yesterday, she came to her senses.
