Thanks Jan. There is certainly some amount of hearsay but overall, I am finding this series fancinating. It is quite long but chocked full of info. The writings on Manson actually made the hair on my neck stand out. This guy also wrote Programmed to Kill and I think you can read it online. Also, do a google on 'Something about Henry' regarding Henry Lucas, on of the worst serial killers who was the only person ever pardoned from death row by Bush!! He then went out for a real killing spree. I made the mistake of reading that while I was alone in the house and I won't be doing that again. lol

Oh, here is the link to 'Henry'. His partner (Ottis Toole) was the one who kidnapped, killed and beheaded the 6 year old son of America's Most Wanted host John Walsh. This story has some interesting tidbits too. I am new and I hope I am posting items in the appropriate areas.
