It was more than "a moment". The assassins jump off an army truck and approach the viewing stand with guns live and loaded.
The footage is superficially similar to the Jonestown footage of the assassins jumping off, and from behind, the trailer to shoot down Congressman Leo Ryan and certain accompanying journalists and film crew. But Ryan and the press team had no secret service to protect them.
It certainly appears that any fully functioning Presidential bodyguard had sufficient warning to get Sadat to the ground and engage fire with the assassins. And they dismally failed to do so.
