I've seen Steven Jones mention a FOIA request to the USGS for dust samples having been denied, but I've no clue if anyone bothered to ask the EPA or Deutsche Bank (who surely has ownership over the samples collected by RJ Lee). I've also seen him suggest that detractors of their conclusions should request samples from alternative sources to put through the same tests, but I've yet to see anyone take up that challenge.
Anyway, the small sample size certainly limits what can be concluded from study. However, given the lack of any other plausible explanation for the active thermitic material and the byproducts of reacted thermitic martial found in the dust, surely even just one sample is enough to reasonably conclude the marital was present in the building, eh?
