Yes, real people do commit these crimes, and they use these acronym agencies as cover for their crimes. Remember the first item on this list - the bigger the lie, the more likely the general public will believe it. And these "acronym agencies" are far more than just "fun to point fingers at", they are a cancer upon the earth that must be removed. And until people actually remove their heads from their posterior regions and actually decide to do something, these agencies - and the people that they benefit - will continue to eat away at the tenuous fabric of what we have left of America.
