‘Sesame Street’ Unveils Muppet to Teach Kids About Hunger
#3
The majority of Wal-Mart customers are almost by definition under-nourished or at least poorly-nourished, and the food served up at Wal-Mart's food store operations is sometimes not fit for consumption. It's nearly a criminal act to note who sits on the Board there too...

The degree of food spoilage in America (probably true in most modern-day large Western cities) is phenomenal, though the "hunger pantries" have employed something of a J-I-T approach to getting the stuff that is about to be thrown out just in the nick of time to salvage what value there may be and share it with the poor.

I've had recent occasion to brush by notice of two exemplary feed-the-hungry services; I think I am getting a message I asked to receive.
"Where is the intersection between the world's deep hunger and your deep gladness?"
