I found Lipsey's description of the wounds confusing. It sounds like he was trying to say the back wound went down into the body. His description of the head wound was muddled. I think he recognized the skull flap portion that was blown open. I suppose he then had to recognize the throat wound as an entry wound.

One thing he does describe in clear detail is the removal of JFK's torso organs in totality in what Lipsey describes as a search for the missing back wound bullet. If this description is accurate it contradicts the Warren Report official version in itself.
