JFK and the Federal Reserve - A Historical Perspective
#5
Magda, Yes, McFadden was right-wingish and anti-semitic. He quoted Father Couglin, a rabid Catholic priest and a radio broadcaster who was the "Rush Limbaugh" of those times. But his narrative of the Federal Reserve Act on how it came to be written and then passed in the Senate and signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson, and the harm it did (and stll does), is quite accurate. President Wilson, when he realized what he had done, apologized to the American people.

I had seen references to a suspicion of FDR's death. but never realized that Colonel Fletcher Prouty, a reliable source, had knowledge of it. Thanks, Greg.

I am also aware that the death of Henry B. Gonzales, U.S. Representative from Texas, and Chairman of the House Banking Committee, was questioned. Stay tuned while I do some background Google research.

I recall at the time that he had come home to San Antonio because of an infection which he could not get rid of. Someone close to him expressed their suspicions, and it had to do with his then-recent Banking Committee work..

And he tried to impeach George H. W. Bush:
