377 words you can never use online
#2
Hi, Jan,

What good timing! I recently had a really strange experience when composing an e-mail letter in response to a friend who had asked me a question. In my response I used the name of the Federal Reserve System and Federal Reserve Banks several times. I had completed about four paragraphs when a message from Yahoo popped up to tell me it could not locate a web site I had gone to just before I started to write my e-mail letter. This web site had nothing to do with my letter, but at the same time that this message appeared, the word "Federal" in my email letter was covered with a blue smear as if it had been highlighted with a pen. Every "Federal" word was highlighted, but not the words "Reserve" or "Banks" or "System" or any other word.

What I did next was to save my unfinished letter in the Drafts folder, left my e-mail site, and went to the web site which Yahoo could not find (as it said in the pop-up message) and had no trouble as before, and then recovered my saved e-mail letter. This time, the highlighted "Federal" words were no longer highlighted. I continued to complete the letter and sent it off.

I still don't understand why Yahoo could not find that web site it claimed. Or was that supposed to cover-up the hacking/intrusion it was doing to my private e-mail writing?

I've never had an experience like this before, and I wondered if I was under some kind of surveillance by "Big Brother". I'd like to know if anyone else has had anything similar to this happen to them?? Have you heard of anything like this?
